Answering the Call: Guerra Scores Game Winner for BCHL Capitals

Braves Captain Nick Guerra was called up by the BCHL’s Cowichan Capitals to face his former team the Nanaimo Clippers on Wednesday.

Guerra would give the Capitals a 2-1 lead at 15:53 of the second period, as he took his own rebound in front of Clippers goaltender Evan DeBrouwer and put it over his glove during a scramble in the Clippers crease. The goal would ultimately be the game winner as the Capitals defeated the Clipper’s 3-1. Guerra was the game’s third star in what was his first BCHL game this season.
